Darwin Middle School Health & Wellbeing Expo.
The aim of the Expo was to
- Empower young people to make the best choices for their health and wellbeing
- Promote local service providers and organisations and the benefits they can offer young people
- Provide interactive activities for the students to engage with to foster knowledge and interest and remove barriers.
On the 6th of September 2023 SR4L was invited to the Health & Wellbeing Expo at Darwin Middle School for students 12-15years, we also met older students too. We asked the question “what do you do to keep yourself mentally healthy”? The most common answers were “talk to friends/family, exercise and gaming”.
It was a most enjoyable morning meeting the students.
