Sabrina J Di Lembo Memorial Scholarship
Dear Lidia,
Re: Scholarship Acceptance for the Sabrina J Di Lembo Memorial Scholarship
I have completed my Bachelor of Psychological Science and currently undertaking the Honours Degree. Thank you for meeting with me for the interview process. The one-time scholarship will help toward my current educational goals at CDU. I wanted to say thankyou for the vote of encouragement and reminding me there is power in that story to help other human beings struggling with suicide ideation. It was very touching that you chose to reach out with this offer, and I am very appreciative It makes me feel as though sharing the story one day to help others is the right path to go down. I will be in touch in the future breaks to learn more about ways to be involved in suicide prevention, to hopefully help save lives. Thank you for all you do for your work in suicide prevention and support for those affected by suicide. .
Kind regards,
Ellisha McCausland

Mary Tendilla graduated with a Batchelor of Psychological Science receiving a minor scholarship.
Testimonial from Mary
It is an honour to express my gratitude as one of the recipients of the Sabrina J Di Lembo Memorial Scholarship for 2023. At the time, I was a working student. I was financially cautious but determined to finish my undergraduate that year. The scholarship enabled me to feel financially secure and access to a more appropriate technology required for the remaining of my studies.
Becoming a psychologist is competitive, and it requires the execution of diligence, resilience, and grit to meet the required academic performance. With that, mental health does not discriminate. Sabrina’s Reach 4 Life encompasses the importance of mental health, provides unique support for the community, and reinforces advocacy to highlight the gap in the mental health system. I know that Sabrina’s Reach 4 Life will continue to flourish and support the community and many more Psychology students like myself whose lived experience fuels the advocacy for mental health because mental health is everybody’s business!
Kind Regards,
Mary Tendilla
