About us
SabrinasReach4Life (SR4L) is a non-profit and charitable association that delivers a range of initiatives designed to support suicide prevention, early intervention and postvention in Darwin, Northern Territory.
About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, results orientated individual who can work with minimal supervision and is experienced in project design, planning and implementation.
You would report to the SR4L Committee on various projects, work flexible hours and attend meetings as required, some of which would be after hours.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Develop project plans in consultation with SR4L Committee and other stakeholders.
- Undertake research and analysis to inform the development, design and evaluation of projects.
- Lead the co-ordination and delivery of projects in a timely manner and within budget
- Assist with grant writing and funding proposals to prospective funders
- Prepare project reports, various written correspondence and oral presentations as required
- Exercise sound judgement, instil trust and respect confidentiality
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated experience in project development, management and/or coordination.
2. Established high level organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines within budget.
3. Strong communication, interpersonal and liaison skills with ability to forge strong partnerships with stakeholders and interested parties.
4. Demonstrated research and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work both autonomously and as a member of a small volunteer team.
6. Knowledge of computer software packages, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable
Experience in mental health, suicide prevention or health related field
