On the 8th of March The Darwin Sailing Club hosted International Women’s Day. As part of their event DSC chose SabrinasReach4Life as a local charity to raise funds in an auction and raffle in which all proceeds went to SR4L. SabrinasReach4Life raised just under $6000 on the night which will be contributed to the Sabrina Josephine Memorial Scholarship at CDU that SR4L solely sponsors. Two local Darwin recipients have already graduated from the scholarship in Psychology, we are now in the proceeds of introducing a third recipient.
The evening was an amazing success, (the downpour did not dampen the evening vibe), we wish to sincerely thank the Darwin Sailing Club and are humbled by the generosity of our donors and the people that attended, the success of this event is attributed to all of you.
