Do you want to connect with others with a lived experience of suicide?

Our support group Bereaved By Suicide Support Group NT (BBSSGNT) is a peer support community – based network, facilitated by volunteers. The experience of grief due to suicide is unique and can, at times, be difficult for others without personal experience to understand. A support group brings together those who have lived experience with suicide loss so that they may share their feelings and stories with people who understand what they are going through. We expect the BBSSGNT will be an invaluable network of support, friendship, and information. 
The aim of the group is to:

 Instil Hope ~ Promote Healing ~ Engender Compassion.

Our meetings are held on the 1^st Wednesday of every month at:

This is in response to feedback we have received from participants who have completed the 8 week program in which two rounds were delivered in 2025 and from participants attending our monthly bereavement support group since 2019.

It has been adapted from a program the Jesuits Social Services in Melbourne have been delivering for nearly 20 years.
